We will compare the Roman Republic and ancient Athens, meaning every section should contain similarities (at least one) and differences (at least one)
- Early law reform- 12 tables & tribune of plebs v Draco’s laws and Solon's changes
- Athenian and Roman social reform- Gracchi brothers v Solon, Pericles (2 similarities and 2 differences here), what problems did each face, how did they attempt to change it, did it work.
- Compare their governments- republican v representative (2 similarities and 2 differences here). Who had power? How were decisions made? Which gave more people a voice?
- Land and group reformation- how did they change each, was it successful, who benefited?
