We finished the reading of the 3 stories. And, we will write a few answers to the questions on Thursday.
And, we will be acting out the "Stone Soup" story in the classroom.
So it will be a skit day.
Stone Soup
Narrator = A peddler came into town to make some stone soup. He started a fire and put water and stones into the pot. Now, the soup making process begins.
1. Peddler = I need some beans for my soup (Inseo)
2. Miller = I have some beans (Joseph)
3. Peddler = I need some carrots. (Inseo)
4. Shopkeeper wife = Here are some carrots. (Mina)
5. Peddler = I need some beef. (Joseph)
6. Blacksmith = Here is some beef. (Mina)
7. Miller = I can bring some cheese. (Joseph)
8. Baker’s wife = I can bring some fresh cream (Mina)
9. Peddler = The soup is ready to eat. (Inseo)
